34.56

第九願使某作佛時。令我國中諸菩薩阿羅漢面目皆端正淨潔姝好。悉同一色都一種類。比如第六天人。得是願乃作佛。不得是願終不作佛。

"Ninth vow: May it be that when I become a Buddha, the faces of all the bodhisattvas and arhats in my land shall be upright, pure, and exquisite, all of one complexion and entirely of one kind, just like the devas of the sixth heaven. If I obtain this vow, only then will I become a Buddha; if I do not obtain this vow, I will never become a Buddha.
