34.66

第十九願使某作佛時。令八方上下無央數佛國。諸天人民蜎飛蠕動之類。皆令得人道。悉作辟支佛阿羅漢。皆坐禪一心。共欲計數知我年壽幾千億萬劫歲數。皆令無有能極知壽者。得是願乃作佛。不得是願終不作佛。

"Nineteenth vow: May it be that when I become a Buddha, all the devas, humans, and flying and creeping wriggling creatures of the countless Buddha-lands in the eight directions, above and below, shall all attain the human path and all become pratyekabuddhas and arhats; and even if they all sit in dhyāna with single mind, together wishing to calculate and know how many thousands of billions of kalpas and years my lifespan is, none shall be able to know its limit. If I obtain this vow, only then will I become a Buddha; if I do not obtain this vow, I will never become a Buddha.
