又梵摩喻經云。如來說法聲有八種。一最好聲。二易了聲。三柔軟聲。四和調聲五尊慧聲。六不誤聲。七深妙聲。八不女聲。言不漏闕。無得其短者。

Also, the Brahmāyu-sūtra says: 'The voice of the Tathāgata in expounding the Dharma has eight qualities: 1. the best voice, 2. an easily understood voice, 3. a soft and gentle voice, 4. a harmonious and regulated voice, 5. a noble and wise voice, 6. an unerring voice, 7. a deep and sublime voice, and 8. a non-feminine voice. His speech has no omissions or deficiencies, and none can find fault with it.'
