憐愍世間大醫王　身及智慧俱寂靜
無我法中有真我　是故敬禮無上尊
發心畢竟二不別　如是二心先心難
自未得度先度他　是故我禮初發心

'Great Physician King who has pity on the world,
Whose physical form and wisdom are both serene;
Within the phenomena of non-self there is the true self,
Therefore I pay homage to the Unsurpassed Honored One.
Generating the mind [of bodhi] and the ultimate attainment are not two different things;
Between these two minds, the first mind is the harder.
Not yet having crossed over oneself, one first crosses over others;
Therefore I pay homage to the initial generation of the mind.'
