兜末香。漢武故事曰。西王母當降上燒兜末香。兜未香者。兜渠國所獻。如大豆。塗門香聞百里。關中嘗大疫。死者相係。燒此香死者止。

Doumo incense. The Han Wu gushi states: 'When the Queen Mother of the West was to descend, the Emperor burned doumo incense. Doumo incense was presented as tribute by the state of Douqu; its grains were like large soybeans. When smeared on doors, its scent was smelled for a hundred li. Once, a great pestilence broke out in Guanzhong, and the dying followed one after another; when this incense was burned, the deaths ceased.'
