梁祖普通三年。重其古迹建木浮圖。堂殿房廊周環備滿。號阿育王寺。四面山繞林竹葱翠。華卉間發飛走相娛。實閑放者之佳地也。有碑頌之。著作郎顧胤祖文。

In the third year of the Putong era of the founder of the Liang dynasty, honouring its ancient site, he constructed a wooden stūpa, with halls, chambers, and verandas complete all around, named King Aśoka Temple. Surrounded on four sides by mountains and lush green bamboo forests, with flowers blooming in between and birds and beasts delighting one another, it is truly an excellent place for those in quiet leisure. There is a stele praising it, composed by the Gentleman of the Editorial Service Gu Yinzu.
