If a bodhisattva does not acquire wealth through their own strength, nor seeks it from others to make offerings, but rather, regarding the offerings made by other sentient beings—even throughout the immeasurable worlds of the ten directions—with superior, middling, or inferior minds, the bodhisattva universally rejoices in all those offerings with pure faith and superior, wondrous understanding: this bodhisattva, with little expedient means, raises up great offerings and encompasses great bodhi. Even for the duration of milking a cow, cultivating the four immeasurable minds and the like toward all sentient beings—this is named the offering of the path that arrives at the culmination. The Tathāgata is foremost and supreme; compared with the previous offering of material goods, it is a hundred times, a thousand times, and even calculation and metaphor cannot serve as a comparison.
