鬚髮白如雪　秀眉垂覆眼
皮皺如波浪　其脊曲如弓
兩手負杖行　次第而受請
舉身皆振掉　行止不自安
譬如白楊樹　隨風而動搖
檀越見此輩　歡喜迎入坐

Beard and hair white as snow, / Long eyebrows drooping over their eyes, / Skin wrinkled like waves, / Spines bent like bows. / Supporting themselves with canes in both hands, / They accepted the invitation in order. / Their whole bodies trembling, / Unsteady in their gait, / Resembling white poplar trees / Shaking with the wind. / Seeing this group, the dānapati / Joyfully welcomed them in to be seated.
