第六不斷草木及掘生地。不著雜色革屣雜色衣服。不破他戒。不謗不說。心不悕望。王者之饍心不甘著。不親近於喜鬪比丘。是名第六調伏之法。

"Sixth, do not cut grass and trees or dig the living earth; do not wear multi-coloured leather sandals or multi-coloured clothing; do not break another's precepts; do not slander or criticize; let the mind not crave; do not relish kingly delicacies; do not draw close to monks fond of quarrelling. This is called the sixth method of subduing defilements.
