建志誡心愚　高慕欣明儔
相與立弘誓　捨俗慕閑丘
蕭散人物外　晃朗免綢繆
寂寂求誠真　斖斖勵心柔
警策修三業　激切澄四流
興心願弘誓　救溺運慈舟
嘉期歸妙覺　善會涅槃修
存心八正道　立志三祇休

Set one's resolve and admonish foolishness of mind, / Longing on high and delighting in luminous companions. / Together let us establish vast vows, / Renounce the worldly, and yearn for tranquil hills. / Disengaged and leisurely beyond human society, / Bright and luminous, free from entanglement. / In stillness seeking truth and sincerity, / Unwearied, encouraging gentleness of mind. / Stirring and urging the cultivation of the three types of action, / Striving ardently to clarify the four currents. / Generating the mind to vow vast resolves, / Steering the compassionate boat to rescue the drowning. / The auspicious term will return to wondrous awakening, / In fine assembly cultivating nirvāṇa. / Keeping the mind on the noble eightfold path, / Setting one's resolve to rest after the three asaṃkhyeya kalpas.
