建志誡心愚　高慕欣明儔
相與立弘誓　捨俗慕閑丘
蕭散人物外　晃朗免綢繆
寂寂求屆真　亹亹勵心柔
警策修三業　激切澄四流
興心願弘誓　救溺運慈舟
嘉期歸妙覺　善會涅槃修
存心八正道　立志三祇休

Resolve established, one admonishes the foolish mind; / aspiring high, one delights in the company of the illuminated. / Together making great vows, / one renounces the secular world and longs for quiet hills. / Free and easy beyond human affairs, / luminous and bright, one escapes entanglement. / Quietly seeking to reach truth, / untiringly training the mind to be gentle. / Vigilantly cultivating the three karmas, / ardently clarifying the four streams. / Arousing the mind to vow great promises, / one steers the compassionate boat to rescue the drowning. / Joyfully awaiting the return to wondrous awakening, / auspiciously meeting the practice of nirvāṇa. / Keeping the mind on the Eightfold Noble Path, / one establishes the resolve to complete the three asaṃkhyeya kalpas.
