49.11

又薩婆多論云。寧破塔壞像不說他麁罪。若說則破法身。不問前比丘有罪無罪。皆不得說。

Moreover, the Sarvāstivāda Treatises say: 'It is better to destroy stupas and demolish images than to speak of another's gross offenses. If one speaks of them, one destroys the Dharma-body. Regardless of whether the bhikṣu in question has committed an offense or has not committed an offense, one must not speak of it in any case.'
