Zhou Yafu of the Han was the second son of Bo, Marquis of Jiang. Earlier, Xu Fu read his fortune and said, 'In three years you will become a marquis. In five years you will become Chancellor. Your nobility will be unsurpassed. Yet in the end, you will die of starvation.' Yafu said, 'Ah, how could this be? If I am already so exalted, why should I die of starvation?' Fu said, 'Not so. The vertical lines run into your mouth; this is the mark of starving to death.' Three years later, the heir of the Marquis of Jiang committed an offense and was degraded, and Yafu inherited the marquisate. When he defeated Wu and Chu, he rendered great service and became Chancellor. Because of his loyal remonstrances and upright stiffness, he repeatedly offended Emperor Jing's intentions. He was cast into prison and in the end died of starvation. (The two persons above are from the Book of Han.)
