The Guan fo sanmei jing also states: The Buddha said: On the Snowy Mountains there is a tree named Yaṅgātuó (Aṅgada?). Its fruit is extremely large, and its seed is extremely small. Investigating its origin, it came from Mount Gandhamādana, reaching the Snowy Mountains by the power of the wind. In the depths of winter and extreme cold, rākṣasas and yakṣas defecated in secluded crags in the mountain valleys, so that excrement and filth overflowed onto the ground. Fierce winds blew snow to cover over it, gradually forming a trench of fifty yojanas. Due to the power of the dung, this fruit was able to grow, its roots, stems, branches, leaves, flowers, and fruits flourishing abundantly. In the three months of spring warmth, the wind arose simultaneously from all eight directions, completely melting the ice and snow; only the fruit tree remained. The shape and color of its fruit cannot be compared to any fruit of Jambudvīpa. Its shape is round, filling half a yojana. If a brāhmaṇa eats it, he immediately attains the path of the immortals, fully endowed with the five supernatural powers, with a lifespan of one kalpa, free from aging and death. If an ordinary person eats it, they immediately attain the four fruits of the śramaṇa, with the three knowledges and six supernatural powers entirely complete. A person took its seed to the dung and manure soil of Jambudvīpa, and only then did it sprout, growing as tall as a tāla tree. The tree is named Jūlǜtuó (Golodha?), and the fruit is named Duōlè (Tāla?). It is as large as a five-sheng jug. If people eat it, it can eliminate fevers.
