鷹鳥用力來　羅婆依自塊
乘瞋猛盛力　致禍碎其身
我具足通達　依於自境界
伏怨心隨喜　自觀欣其力
設汝有兇愚　百千龍象力
不如我智慧　十六分之一
觀我智勝殊　摧滅於蒼鷹

'The hawk came putting forth its strength; / The lava relied on its clod. / Riding upon its violent, fierce rage, / It brought about disaster and shattered its body. / Being fully accomplished and discerning, / I relied on my own territory. / Subduing my foe, my mind rejoices; / Observing itself, it delights in its power. / Even if you have ferocious folly / And the strength of a hundred thousand dragons and elephants, / It does not equal one-sixteenth / Of my wisdom. / Behold my superior, exceptional wisdom, / Which destroyed the goshawk.'
