鷹鳥用力來　羅婆依自塊
乘瞋猛盛力　致禍碎其身
我具足通達　依於自境界
伏怨心隨喜　自觀欣其力
縱汝有兇愚　百千龍象力
不如我智慧　十六分之一
觀我智勝殊　摧滅於蒼鷹

'The hawk came exerting its force; / The Lava relied on its own clod. / Riding the fierce force of wrath, / It brought about disaster and shattered its body. / I am fully accomplished / In relying upon my own domain; / Subduing the foe, my heart rejoices, / Observing itself and delighting in its power. / Even if you have ferocious folly / And the strength of a hundred thousand nāgas and elephants, / It does not equal one-sixteenth / Of my wisdom. / Behold how my wisdom is superior, / Destroying the goshawk!'
