第十二復有眾生。五根不具。何罪所致。佛言。以前世時坐飛鷹走狗彈射禽獸。或斷其頭。或斷其足。生滅鳥翼。故獲斯罪。

Twelfth, there are also sentient beings whose five sense faculties are incomplete. What transgression caused this? The Buddha said: In their past lives, they unleashed hawks and urged on hounds to shoot birds and beasts with slings, severing their heads or feet, or ripping off birds' wings while still alive. Therefore, they incurred this retribution.
