問曰。云何名業道義。答曰。身口七業即自體相。名為業道。餘三者意相應心。又即彼業。能作道故。名為業道。

Question: What is meant by the meaning of 'course of action' (karmapatha)? Answer: The seven actions of body and speech are the intrinsic characteristics themselves, which are named 'courses of action'. The remaining three are minds associated with mental activity. Furthermore, because those very actions can act as paths, they are named courses of action.
