68.89

菩薩復有四事法。臨壽終時佛在前立為說經法。令其不墮苦痛之處。何等為四。一為一切人故具滿諸願。二若人布施諸不足念欲足之。三見人雜施若有短少便裨助之。四常念供養於三寶。

"A bodhisattva further has four practices such that when approaching the end of life, the Buddha stands before them preaching the scriptures and Dharma, causing them not to fall into places of suffering and pain. What are the four? First, completely fulfilling all vows for the sake of all people. Second, if someone practices giving and falls short in any way, thinking to make it sufficient. Third, seeing people make various gifts, if there is any shortfall, supplementing and aiding it. Fourth, constantly being mindful of making offerings to the Three Jewels."
