於是長者子辯意。聞佛說是五十事要法之義。欣然歡喜逮得法忍。五百長者皆得法眼淨。又諸會各得所志。
Thereupon, the elder's son Bianyi, hearing the Buddha expound the meaning of these fifty essential teachings, rejoiced gladly and attained forbearance of phenomena. The five hundred elders all attained the purity of the Dharma-eye. Furthermore, all in the assembly each achieved their aspirations.
