殺生入四趣　受苦三塗畢
得生人道中　短命多憂疾
疫病嬰艱苦　壽短常沈沒
若有智情人　殺心寧放逸

Killing living beings, one enters the four destinies; / Having suffered pain in the three evil paths to the end, / When obtaining birth among the human path, / One has a short life and much worry and illness. / Pestilence and disease bring difficult hardship; / With a short lifespan, one constantly sinks down. / If there is a person of wise sentiment, / How could the mind to kill be given free rein?
