殺生入四趣　受苦三塗畢
得生人道中　短命多憂疾
疫病嬰艱苦　壽短常沈沒
若有智情人　殺心寧放逸

Killing living beings leads into the four destinies; / Having endured suffering, the three paths are finished.
When born among the human path, / One has a short life and many worries and ailments.
Afflicted with hardships by pestilence and disease, / One's lifespan is brief and one constantly sinks.
If there are sentient beings of wisdom, / How could the mind of killing be unrestrained?
