齊時有一奉朝請。家甚豪侈。非手殺牛則噉之不美。年三十許病篤。大見牛來。舉體如被刀刺。噭呼而終。

During the Qi dynasty, there was an Attendant in Ordinary whose household was extremely extravagant. Unless he slaughtered the cattle with his own hands, he found the meat unpalatable. When he was around thirty years of age, he became gravely ill. He saw many cattle coming toward him, and his entire body felt as though it were being stabbed with knives. He died howling.
