75.23

又智度論云。菩薩觀欲種種不淨。於諸衰中女衰最重。火刀雷電霹靂怨家毒蛇之屬。猶可暫近。女人慳妬。瞋諂妖穢。鬪諍貪嫉。不可親近。故佛說偈云。

Also, the Mahāprajñāpāramitā-śāstra says: 'The bodhisattva contemplates the various impurities of desire. Among all forms of ruin, the ruin caused by women is the gravest. Fire, knives, thunder, lightning, enemies, and poisonous snakes may still be approached for a time; but a woman's stinginess, jealousy, anger, flattery, bewitching filth, quarrelsomeness, and greed cannot be approached.' Therefore, the Buddha spoke in verse:
