78.33

其有縱瞋恚　怨害向他人
後生墮蚖蛇　或作殘賊獸
譬如竹樹劈　芭蕉騾懷妊
還害亦如是　故當發慈心

"Whoever indulges in anger and hatred, / harboring malicious harm toward others, / will in a later life fall into being a viper, / or become a predatory beast. / Just as the splitting of bamboo, / or the pregnancy of a plantain tree or a mule, / turns back to destroy itself in the same way, / therefore one should generate a mind of benevolence."
