82.28

我捨身命時　墮地如乾薪
當使人稱美　為鵝能捨身
亦使於後人　皆生憂苦惱
而捨如此身　聞者勸精進
修行於真道　堅持於禁戒
有便毀禁者　願樂於持戒

"When I abandon my bodily life, / it will fall to the ground like dry firewood. / Let it cause people to praise: / 'For a goose's sake, he could give up his life.' / It will also cause people of later times, / when they all produce sorrow and suffering / and give up a body like this, / that those who hear of it will be urged to exert vigor, / to practice the true path, / and firmly maintain the prohibitive precepts; / while those who are inclined to violate the precepts / will aspire and delight in maintaining the precepts."
