9.51

又佛本行經云。大王我今自慨年耆根熟衰朽老邁。當於爾時不得覩見。失此大利。是故我今悲惋自傷。非彼不吉。即為大王而說偈言。

Furthermore, the *Fo benxing jing* states: [The sage said,] 'Great King, I now lament for myself that my years are advanced, my faculties mature, and I am decrepit and decaying with age. At that future time, I will not be able to behold [him] and will lose this great benefit. Therefore, I now grieve and mourn for myself; it is not that he is inauspicious.' Thereupon he spoke a gāthā for the Great King:
