問菩薩所得三十二相。與輪王相有何差別。答菩薩所得四事勝。一熾盛。二分明。三圓滿。四得處。復有五事勝。一得處。二極端嚴。三文像深。四隨順勝智。五隨順離染。

Question: What is the difference between the thirty-two marks obtained by a bodhisattva and the marks of a cakravartin? Answer: Those obtained by a bodhisattva are superior in four matters: first, flaming brilliance; second, distinctness; third, fullness; fourth, the proper location. Furthermore, they are superior in five matters: first, the proper location; second, extreme uprightness and elegance; third, deep patterns and forms; fourth, accordance with supreme wisdom; fifth, accordance with detachment from defilement.
