汝見肉廳者。是地獄人。迦葉佛時。是出家人五德不具。為僧當厨。精美好者先自食噉。或將與白衣。使食殘者與眾僧故。受地獄苦。至今不息。

'The hall of flesh you saw was a person in hell. In the time of Kāśyapa Buddha, he was a renunciant who lacked the five virtues. Managing the kitchen for the Saṃgha, he first ate the exquisite and fine food himself or took it to give to laypeople, giving only the leftover food to the Saṃgha. Therefore, he suffers the torments of hell without ceasing down to the present day.'
