汝見肉繩床者。是地獄人。迦葉佛時。是出家人。捉僧繩床不依戒律。如自己有以次分床。故入地獄。作大肉繩床火燒受苦。至今不息。

'The corded bed of flesh you saw was a person in hell. In the time of Kāśyapa Buddha, he was a renunciant who took possession of a corded bed belonging to the Saṃgha not in accordance with the Vinaya, treating it as his own property rather than having beds distributed in order. Therefore, he entered hell and became a great corded bed of flesh, burned by fire and enduring suffering without ceasing down to the present day.'
