又瑜伽論云。若居薄福者。當生下賤家。彼於死時及入胎時。便聞種種紛亂之聲。及自妄見入於叢林竹𥯤蘆荻等中。若多福者。當生尊貴家。彼於爾時便自聞有寂靜美妙可意音聲。及自妄見昇宮殿等可意相現。

Furthermore, the Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra says: If one is of slight merit, one will be born into a lowly family. At the time of death and upon entering the womb, one will hear various chaotic and confused sounds, and will falsely see oneself entering into thickets, bamboo groves, reeds, rushes, and the like. If one has abundant merit, one will be born into an honorable and noble family. At that time, one will naturally hear serene, wondrous, and pleasing sounds, and will falsely see oneself ascending to palaces and the appearance of other pleasing sights.
