又四分律云。時諸比丘自作伎。若吹唄供養。佛言。不應爾。彼畏慎不敢令白衣作伎供養。佛言聽。
Furthermore, the Dharmaguptaka Vinaya states: At that time, monks themselves performed music and blew chants as offerings. The Buddha said: 'It should not be so.' They were fearful and did not dare to have white-robed laypeople perform music as offerings. The Buddha said: 'It is permitted.'
