Out of pity for all sentient beings, I now also uphold this dhāraṇī: it can cause all angry and evil sentient beings to become entirely joyful. If one can recite the dhāraṇī and pay homage three times each day, the merit surpasses paying homage to thousands of tens of millions of koṭis of Buddhas. After life ends, one will attain birth in the western land of the Buddha of Immeasurable Life. A previous translated version states: 'When life is about to end, one will obtain the welcoming of the Buddhas. One will personally attend upon and make offerings to each and every one of the thousand Buddhas of the future Bhadrakalpa. If only there is someone who can constantly recite this dhāraṇī, it is most inconceivable.'
