Regarding the tenth intermediate existence: When a person of Pūrvavideha approaches the end of life, they see the signs of death; they see their own karma, or they see the karma of others; or they see palace halls exquisitely adorned, and joy arises in their mind. Wishing to approach and take rebirth, they see outside the palace halls numerous maidservants singing, chanting, and making merry together with men. In the intermediate existence, they form this thought: 'I wish to join in their play.' They immediately enter the throng of revellers, and as if awakening from sleep, they are instantly reborn in heaven. This is called the tenth intermediate existence.
