You who are mired in wrong view and ignorance,
a person bound by the snare of folly,
now fall into this hell,
abiding in a great ocean of suffering.
Evil views burn away all merit;
you are the basest of all people.
You fear the bonds of hell,
yet this is your own dwelling.
If one belongs to wrong views,
that person lacks clever wisdom.
All courses in hell
are deceived by the mind, one's enemy.
The mind is the foremost enemy;
this enemy is the most evil of all.
This enemy can bind a person
and deliver them unto Yama's domain.
