"When the king unleashes the drunken elephant,
Ferocious and destructive, with tusks exceedingly sharp,
Or dragons and snakes harboring poison,
All who encounter them must die.
He transforms and subdues them all,
Returning to collect his mind well;
All perils are exhausted without remainder,
With no fear in the three realms.
The practitioner abides in the stage of training,
Unmoving, accomplishing the noble path;
Having attained his own benefit,
Transcending suffering, he always gains peace.
Having severed the five grades,
He fully accomplishes the six superknowledges;
Cleansing all defilements of toil,
Like water washing away dirt from clothing.
This is called an upright person,
According with the Buddha's noble teachings;
Supreme, without defilement or dust,
Therefore it is called the stage of no-more-learning."
