故書云。君子讓而得之為義。故常須進勝他人。恒須剋責已躬也。
Therefore, a [secular] book states: For a noble man, to yield and gain it constitutes righteousness. Therefore, one should constantly advance others over oneself, and always rebuke one's own person.
