10.152

佛者譬甘露　聽聞無厭足
不當有懈怠　無益於一切
五道生死海　譬如墮污泥
愛欲所纏裹　無智為甚迷
日出眾花開　譬佛之色身
日入華還合　世尊般涅槃
值見如來世　當勤精進受
除去睡陰蓋　莫呼佛常在
深法之要慧　不以色因緣
其現有著者　當知為善權
善權之所度　有益不唐舉
而現此變化　亦以一切故

'The Buddha is likened to amṛta: / Hearing him, one should never be sated; / One must not indulge in laxity, / For it brings no benefit to anyone. / The sea of birth and death in the five destinies / Is likened to falling into foul mud; / Entangled and bound by love and desire, / Lacking wisdom, one is profoundly deluded. / When the sun rises, the many flowers open, / Likened to the form body of the Buddha; / When the sun sets, the flowers close again, / Likened to the Bhagavat entering parinirvāṇa. / When encountering and seeing the era of a Tathāgata, / One must diligently and vigorously receive [the teaching]; / Remove the hindrance of drowsiness, / And do not say the Buddha is forever present. / The essential wisdom of the profound Dharma / Does not rely on form as condition; / For those who manifest attachments, / Know that this is a skillful expedient. / What is delivered by skillful expedients / Has benefit and is not undertaken in vain; / And the manifestation of this transformation / Is likewise for the sake of all.'
