10.26

又優婆塞戒經云。若以衣施得上妙色。若以食施得無上力。若以燈施得淨妙眼。若以乘施身受安樂。若以舍施所須無乏。

Also, the Upāsakaśīla-sūtra says: 'If one gives clothing, one attains superior and wondrous appearance. If one gives food, one attains unsurpassed strength. If one gives lamps, one attains pure and wondrous vision. If one gives vehicles, one's body experiences ease and comfort. If one gives dwellings, one will lack none of one's necessities.'
