12.86

第六中陰有者。若欝單越人以中業故。臨命終時欲生天上。則有相現。見蓮華池甚可愛樂。眾蜂莊嚴一切皆香。升此蓮華。須臾乘空而飛。猶如夢中生於天上。作如是念。我今當至勝蓮華池。是名欝單越人中品受生第六中陰有也。

The sixth intermediate state: If a person of Uttarakuru, due to middling karma, is about to be born in the heavens when approaching death, signs appear: they see a lotus pond that is extremely lovely, adorned with swarms of bees, all fragrant. Climbing onto this lotus flower, they immediately fly through the air, like being born in the heavens in a dream, and think: 'I shall now go to the superior lotus pond.' This is called the sixth intermediate state of a person of Uttarakuru undergoing rebirth of the middling grade.
