12.96

第十六中陰有道相續者。若從上天還生下天。見眾蓮華園林流池。皆亦不如。既見此已。飢渴苦惱。渴仰欲得即往彼生。如是雖同生天二種中陰有二種相生。是名第十六中陰有相續道也。

Sixteenth, regarding the path of continuation of the intermediate existence: if one is reborn from a higher heaven down into a lower heaven, seeing the various lotuses, parks, groves, and flowing ponds, they are all inferior. Having seen this, afflicted by hunger and thirst, with longing desire to attain them, one goes and is born there. Thus, though both are born in heaven, two kinds of intermediate existence have two kinds of signs of birth. This is called the path of continuation of the sixteenth intermediate existence.
