寧以赤鐵　宛轉眼中　不以散心
邪視女色　含笑作姿　憍慢羞慚
迴面攝眼　美言妬瞋　行步妖穢
以惑於人　婬羅彌網　人皆投身
坐臥行立　迴眄巧媚　薄智愚人
為之心碎　執劍向敵　是猶可勝
女賊害人　是不可禁　毒蛇含毒
猶可手捉　女情惑人　是不可觸

Better that red-hot iron / be rolled about within one's eyes, / than that with a scattered mind / one should look lasciviously upon female beauty. / With smiling faces they assume seductive postures, / haughty and coy, / turning their faces and casting sidelong glances, / with sweet words, jealousy, and anger, / walking in bewitching, defiled manners / to delude men. / When the snare of lust spreads its net, / men all cast themselves in. / Sitting, lying, walking, standing, / they glance coquettishly with clever charms; / foolish men of shallow wisdom / are brokenhearted because of them. / Brandishing a sword against an enemy / may still be overcome, / but the female robber who harms people / cannot be restrained. / A venomous snake bearing poison / may still be held in hand, / but a woman's passion that bewilders men / must never be touched.
