2.19

又智度論云。若悋惜法。則常生邊地無佛法處。由悋法故障他慧明。此則不如賣法他人反勝過此。

Furthermore, the *Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa* says: "If one is stingy with the Dharma, one will constantly be reborn in the border regions where there is no Buddha-Dharma. Because of stinginess with the Dharma, one obstructs the luminous wisdom of others. This is worse than selling the Dharma; [even] another person [who sells it] is conversely superior to this."
