又五分律云。除其貪心。不自輕心。不輕大眾心。慈心喜心。利益心。不動心。立此等心。乃至宣說一四句偈。令前人如實解者。長夜安樂利益無量。

Furthermore, the Mahīśāsaka-vinaya states: 'Eliminate the mind of greed, do not have a mind of self-deprecation, do not have a mind that disdains the assembly, [maintain] a mind of loving-kindness, a mind of joy, a mind to benefit, and an unshakeable mind. Establishing such minds, even if one expounds only a single four-line verse, causing the other person to understand it as it truly is, it will bring peace, joy, and immeasurable benefit throughout the long night.'
