2.81

又佛本行經云。輸頭檀王與諸眷屬百官。次第禮佛已。佛言。王今可禮優波離比丘等諸比丘。王聞佛教即從座起。頂禮五百比丘。新出家者次第而禮。

Furthermore, the Abhiniṣkramaṇa-sūtra says: After King Śuddhodana along with his retinues and the hundred officials sequentially paid homage to the Buddha, the Buddha said, 'The King may now pay homage to the bhikṣus such as Bhikṣu Upāli.' Hearing the Buddha's teaching, the King immediately arose from his seat and bowed his head in homage to the five hundred bhikṣus, paying homage to the newly ordained ones in sequence.
