20.33

復以聞慧。或以天眼。見抒氣蟲。以瞋恚故食腦作孔。或咽喉痛。或咽喉塞。生於死苦。此抒氣蟲。共咽喉中一切諸蟲。皆悉撩亂生諸痛惱。此抒氣蟲常為唾覆。其蟲短小有面有足。

Furthermore, by the wisdom acquired from hearing, or with the divine eye, one sees the breath-discharging worm. Out of anger, it eats the brain and makes holes, or causes throat pain, or obstructs the throat, producing the suffering of death. Together with all the other worms in the throat, this breath-discharging worm brings disorder and stirs up all manner of pain and distress. This breath-discharging worm is constantly covered in saliva; the worm is short and small, having a face and feet.
