20.60

塔前眾僧前。和上阿闍梨前。不得張口大洟唾著地。若欲洟唾者。當屏猥處莫令人惡賤。是洟唾法。

“Before a stūpa, before the Saṅgha, and before one's upādhyāya or ācārya, one must not open the mouth to spit or blow nasal mucus loudly upon the ground. If one wishes to spit or blow mucus, do so in a secluded, screened place, not causing people to despise or look down upon one. This is the rule for mucus and saliva.”
