20.78

又四分律云。時諸比丘患屋內臭。佛言。應灑掃。若故臭以香泥。泥若復臭。應屋四角懸香。

Furthermore, the Dharmaguptaka-vinaya states: At that time, the monks were troubled by a foul odor inside their rooms. The Buddha said: 'You should sprinkle and sweep. If it is still foul, plaster it with fragrant mud. If it is still foul, you should hang incense in the four corners of the room.'
