令月建清齋　佳辰召無強
四部依時集　七眾會升堂
蕭條清梵舉　哀宛動宮商
香氣騰空上　乘風散遐方
歎德研沖邃　詞辯暢玄芳
折煩呈妙句　臨時折婉章
緇素相依託　財法發神光
福田今夕滿　恩慧導存亡

"In an auspicious month, the pure fast is established; / On this fine occasion, the indefatigable are summoned.
Four assemblies gather according to the season; / The sevenfold sangha convenes to ascend the hall.
In serene solitude, pure Brahma-chants are raised; / Mournful and resonant, moving the musical notes.
Fragrant vapors soar upward into the void; / Riding the wind, they disperse to distant regions.
Praising virtues, they explore the profound and deep; / Eloquent phrases unfold the dark fragrance.
Clearing affliction, wonderful lines are presented; / Fitting to the moment, delicate stanzas unfold.
Monastic and lay rely upon one another; / Wealth and Dharma emanate divine radiance.
The field of merit is fulfilled this evening; / Grace and wisdom guide the living and the dead."
