莫親惡知識　亦莫愚從事
當近善知識　人中最勝者
人中無有惡　習近惡知識
後必種惡根　永在暗中行

"Do not draw close to bad spiritual friends, / Nor serve the foolish; / One should draw near to good spiritual friends, / The most supreme among people. / If there is no evil in a person, / Yet they associate with and draw near to bad spiritual friends, / They will later certainly plant evil roots / And forever walk in darkness."
